Skillsets: Print Design, Illustration, I’ve had the opportunity to work on many Nike projects over the years for a variety of departments. Below are some of my favorite pieces — ranging from full books to special one-off bits and bobs.
Nike HR was in search of a way to elevate the onboarding experience of high-level hires. The Nike “GoKit” was created in close partnership to not only make new hires’ first day feel special, but also help support them through their first 90 days with a collection of tools and materials presented in a way that encourages them to “Just Do It.”
Detail shots including an easter egg word-search on the inside cover and debossed track & field racing lines on the cover.
The kit was originally concepted to come packaged neatly within a custom box whose shape was inspired by the original Hayward Field stadium roof. This detail lived on in the welcome card and even the unusual angle of the book’s opening.
The “Bacon Book” — born from a department inside joke, this notebook was created as an end-of-year gift filled with bacon facts on every page.
